Consultant Service to training GBV services’ providers on inclusive child protection and GBV case management framework.

The primary objective of this assignment was to strengthen the abilities of service providers medical, legal, and mental health professionals to deliver coordinated, inclusive, and high-quality support to children and other vulnerable individuals affected by gender, age, and disability-based violence. Specifically, the assignment seeks to familiarize these professionals with international and national standards for managing cases of gender-based violence (GBV) and child protection, enhance collaboration through a shared medical and legal vocabulary, and discuss practical strategies for the reintegration of survivors into everyday life.

RWAMREC and NOVAH 

Quantitative Listenership Survey for a Radio Drama on Reducing Violence Against Women

The Rwanda Men Resource Centre (RWAMREC), in collaboration with NOVAH, an international NGO, has launched a new radio drama, Twubakane, aimed at preventing domestic violence in Rwanda. The drama consists of six 15-minute episodes aired on RC Musanze from February 20th to March 10th, 2025. The initiative is inspired by a successful Ugandan project that reduced intimate partner violence by 25%.

MINICOM - Ministry of Trade and Industry

Interim facility (infa) project Partner organization enhanced integrated framework (eif)

The MINICOM Interim Facility (InFa) Project, in partnership with the Enhanced Integrated Framework (EIF), seeks to assess the performance of Rwanda’s cross-border markets and the impact of EIF interventions. The assignment will review current management models, evaluate the outcomes of EIF-funded initiatives, and propose improved, sustainable approaches to strengthen trade facilitation, market access, and capacity building. It will also provide a strategic roadmap to guide Rwanda’s smooth transition from EIF Tier II funding while ensuring long-term sustainability of its trade agenda.

Population Council’s PERCC 

Climate Resilience, Health, and Socio-Economic Vulnerability of Adolescents and Girls in Rwanda: Western Province – Karongi and Gakenke Districts

This case study explores the compounded impact of climate change on the socio-economic, health, and educational vulnerabilities of adolescents and girls in Rwanda, particularly in the Western Provinces. It examines how climate change intersects with their access to sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR), health services, education, and well-being, while identifying effective resilience strategies and policy gaps. The findings will inform interventions and frameworks to enhance climate resilience and adaptive capacities among adolescents and girls.

Improving the economic well-being and environmental sustainability of communities in Kayonza district, Rwanda

The Economic and Environmental Sustainability (EES) project, implemented by AMU in partnership with Tearfund, is a two-year initiative (Dec 2022–Feb 2025) aimed at improving the economic well-being and environmental sustainability of communities in Kayonza District, Rwanda specifically in Mukarange and Nyamirama sectors. The project supports vulnerable households through sustainable livelihoods such as energy-saving stove production, agroforestry, composting, and nursery-bed enterprises managed by self-help groups (SHGs). It also focuses on climate resilience, environmental awareness, and skills training, with the overarching goal of reducing poverty and enhancing community sustainability.

Endline Evaluation for Ngoma Out-grower Service Company (OSC) Model

Endline Evaluation of Ngoma OSC Model Project (2024–2026): Conducted for Agriterra Rwanda under Enabel’s PRISM II program to assess outcomes, impact, and sustainability of interventions aimed at strengthening smallholder farmers through the Ngoma OSC Model. The evaluation measured progress in maize aggregation, value addition, governance, and market access while identifying lessons to inform future scaling and replication.

Combating Malnutrition in Rwanda through Sustainable Food Systems (CMRFS)

The Combating Malnutrition in Rwanda through Sustainable Food Systems (CMRFS) baseline study, implemented by the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition, aims to generate evidence on household nutrition, food environments, and feeding practices in Western Rwanda. The study uses a mixed-methods approach that includes household surveys, a focused ethnographic study with caregivers of young children, interviews with food vendors and key stakeholders, and market observations. These methods help understand how households make food choices, the availability and affordability of nutritious foods, and the cultural and behavioural factors influencing child feeding practices in districts such as Rusizi District, Nyamasheke District, Karongi District, Rutsiro District, and Nyabihu District

Baseline survey for Swisscontact’s AgroInnovation Project

The baseline survey for Swisscontact’s AgroInnovation Project, supporting the Kura Na agtech acceleration program. Our assignment focuses on assessing the socio-economic status, agricultural practices, technology adoption, and financial inclusion of smallholder farmers targeted by innovative agri-tech startups. Through rigorous data collection and analysis, we are helping establish key performance indicators that will guide the project's impact on climate resilience, food security, and farmer livelihoods across Rwanda.

This project is a scoping study on scaling and sustaining Savings Groups (SGs) and Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) in Rwanda, commissioned by CARE International. The study aims to analyze the current landscape of savings groups, assess their performance, and identify opportunities and challenges affecting their sustainability and scale. Through consultations with stakeholders, including savings group members, village agents, government institutions, and financial service providers, the study will propose a standardized and sustainable community-based model, along with a scalable business plan, capacity strengthening strategy, and a monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning framework to support the long-term growth of savings groups in Rwanda.

Endline Evaluation for Women-Led Smes Financial Inclusion and Business Development Program

The Women Economic Empowerment Project, implemented by KCB Foundation in partnership with BPR Bank Rwanda Plc and GIZ, aims to strengthen financial inclusion and entrepreneurial capacity among women-led SMEs in Rwanda. The project delivers Business Development Services such as training, mentorship, coaching, and access to finance to address key barriers faced by women entrepreneurs. It seeks to improve business performance, increase employment, and promote women’s economic empowerment, while also strengthening the capacity of financial institutions to better serve women entrepreneurs. An endline evaluation is being conducted to assess its impact, effectiveness, and sustainability.

Building Resilient Food Security for Smallholder Farmers through Sustainable Soil Management Practices and Income Generation Opportunities

Final evaluation of Caritas Gikongoro’s Food Security and Livelihoods Project in Nyamagabe District, implemented with the Italian Bishops’ Conference Committee and Service for Charitable Action in the Third World, assessing relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability of interventions on agricultural productivity, food security, nutrition, climate resilience, income generation, and community capacity among vulnerable smallholder farmers through mixed-methods evaluation and evidence-based analysis of scalability and lessons learned.

AI Chatbot Training Dataset Annotation – English and Kinyarwanda

GreenStars annotated 1,500 audio recordings and corresponding English and Kinyarwanda transcripts to create a structured, machine-readable dataset for training an AI-powered chatbot. The assignment covered intent classification, entity tagging, and speaker identification, supported by standardized guidelines, bilingual annotation, continuous quality control, and independent quality assurance. Key deliverables included the fully annotated dataset, annotation guidelines, and a quality assurance report.

Customer Satisfaction and Brand Perception Survey

A nationwide Customer Satisfaction and Brand Perception Survey for Old Mutual Insurance Rwanda (OMIR). The study assesses customer experience across key service touchpoints, brand awareness and perception, customer loyalty and retention, product preferences, communication effectiveness, and OMIR’s competitive position. Using a rigorous mixed-methods approach, the assignment will generate actionable insights to strengthen customer experience, brand equity, product development, and market positioning.
