The Women Economic Empowerment Project, implemented by KCB Foundation in partnership with BPR Bank Rwanda Plc and GIZ, aims to strengthen financial inclusion and entrepreneurial capacity among women-led SMEs in Rwanda.

The project delivers Business Development Services — training, mentorship, coaching, and access to finance — to address key barriers faced by women entrepreneurs, while also strengthening the capacity of financial institutions to better serve them. An endline evaluation is assessing its impact, effectiveness, and sustainability.
