Baseline Survey for Ngoma Out-grower Service Company (OSC) Model
Agriterra Rwanda is seeking a firm to conduct a baseline survey for the Ngoma OSC Model project, funded by Enabel under the PRISM II program. The project aims to strengthen smallholder farmers and improve maize aggregation, value addition, and market access. The survey will establish key performance benchmarks for tracking progress over the next two years (2024-2026).
Project Background
The Ngoma OSC Model was initially piloted (2021-2023) to address challenges in the maize and soybean value chains in Rwanda. The project led to the establishment of Ngoma OSC Ltd, a farmer-led maize aggregation company. PRISM II funding will further strengthen the OSC’s governance, financial sustainability, and service delivery to farmers.

Endline Evaluation of Ngoma OSC Model Project
(2024–2026): Conducted for Agriterra Rwanda under Enabel’s
PRISM II program to assess outcomes, impact, and sustainability of
interventions aimed at strengthening smallholder farmers through the Ngoma OSC
Model. The evaluation measured progress in maize aggregation, value addition,
governance, and market access while identifying lessons to inform future
scaling and replication.
