The Umuringa Green Awareness

Climate Resilience Project

The UMURINGA GREEN AWARENESS project is the flagship initiative of GreenStars, designed to tackle the critical challenges of climate change and environmental degradation in Rwanda. Through this project, we aim to use awareness as a tool of promoting community resilience to climate threats through community engagement, youth empowerment, and sustainable business practices to deliver tangible and lasting impact.

At the heart of the UMURINGA GREEN AWARENESS project is our pledge to channel part of our revenues into tree planting and climate action initiatives, ensuring steady support for on-the-ground programs.

Alongside this commitment, we actively seek partnerships and sponsorships from NGOs and strategic allies to expand environmental education in schools—creating vibrant eco-clubs and organizing climate awareness competitions that inspire Rwanda’s next generation of change-makers.
